TRIO, Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) and the Office Disability Services (ODS) alumni will be the featured speakers at the 2017 National TRIO Day Celebration at Wichita State on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

"Now is the time to present our phenomenal success stories during the celebration in an effort to continue the message that TRIO works, GEAR UP and ODS works," said Deltha Q. Colvin, associate vice president for Students Affairs, Special Programs. "Wichita State University is honored that the speakers for the National TRIO Day Celebration are alumni who are distinguished in their chosen careers. We are extremely excited about hearing the success stories from former students."

The National TRIO Day celebration will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, during a dinner banquet with limited seating.
