On Monday, Feb. 13, the city of Wichita will begin work on phase one of a major construction project that will expand the capacity of the 21st Street and Oliver intersection.

Beginning Monday, both streets will be one lane in each direction. Left turns will be prohibited on all four approaches to the intersection.

The project, slated for completion in late fall 2017, will create dedicated right turn lanes and double left-turn lanes on all approaches, as well as improved drainage and landscaping.
