Please let students know that it's not too late to complete the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE--pronounced "NESSIE"). Students, first year and senior year, who received an invitation to participate in NSSE received an e-mail inviting them to go to a link to complete the survey. Nonrespondents were also sent letters by post inviting them to participate in the survey. We encourage students to complete the survey and reply as soon as possible. About 780 students have replied. We would like to see this increase to give us the best results possible. Completed Web surveys will be received until June 1.
Five $100 gift certificates to the WSU Bookstore will be given to randomly selected respondents who have completed the entire survey and submitted it. Unfortunately, students who did not receive the e-mail or postal version inviting them to participate were not part of the random sample.
