* The WSU School of Music announces a special master class to be given by world-famous jazz composer and tenor saxophonist Benny Golson from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (today) Friday, Feb. 10, in C104 Duerksen Fine Arts Center.
* On Monday, Feb. 13, the city of Wichita will begin work on phase one of a major construction project that will expand the capacity of the 21st Street and Oliver intersection. Both streets will be one lane in each direction. Left turns will be prohibited on all four approaches to the intersection.
* See The Vagina Monologues from 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, and 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, in 208 Hubbard Hall. This production features the dramatized stories of women and girls as a way of protesting systems of hate. * Do you think you are Wichita State's strongest? You have the chance to prove it at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12. Participate in squat, bench press and deadlift competitions. Registration is $10 for WSU students. Entry fees are due at the Heskett Center front desk by the day of the event.
* It's FAFSA filing season. If you need help completing the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Office of Financial Aid is here to help. As part of the office's #iheartFAFSA campaign, every Tuesday in February financial aid staff will offer free one-on-one FAFSA completion assistance from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in 203 Jardine Hall.
