Muslim Awareness Week is being hosted by Wichita State's Muslim Student Association (MSA) from Monday through Friday, Feb. 20-24. MSA hopes to create clarity and an improved understanding of Islam for all individuals on campus in order to offset the negative stigma toward Muslims as a result of the political climate and fear mongering in society. MSA believes that the events this week will help create dialogue and improve all participants' understanding of what Islam is all about while having fun.
