Experience the realities of poverty

Have you ever wondered what it may be like to live in poverty? From 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the RSC Shirley Beggs Ballroom, join Community Service Board as they bring the Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) experience to Wichita State. Poverty is often portrayed as a stand-alone issue, but this simulation allows individuals to walk a month in the shoes of someone who is facing poverty and realize how complex and interconnected issues of poverty really are. Are you up for this experience? To participate, registration is required at http://www.wichita.edu/CAPS. This event is limited to the first 88 registrants, so sign up for a spot as soon as possible. Direct any questions to csb@wichita.edu.
