* The Graduate School will continue its Professional Development Series at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 17) with "Speak for Success: Talking About Your Research to a Wide Audience," in 142 RSC.
* The Shockers open their 2017 baseball season at Eck Stadium this weekend. WSU will host Utah Valley at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 17); 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18; and 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).
* The WSU women's tennis team will host the University of Kansas at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 17). Free pizza will be available for all fans in attendance.
* School of Art, Design and Creative Industries (ADCI) invites WSU students, faculty, staff and the public to explore contemporary art and design at Wichita State University from 9 a.m.-noon tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 18).
