Reminders, deadlines, events and Shocker Blast

* WSU's Biology Department will host a seminar from 4-5 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 20) in 218 Hubbard Hall. Susan Castro from WSU's Department of Philosophy will present "How big is the problem of unconceived scientific alternatives?"

* Plan to attend the campus-wide Strategic Planning Spring Forum event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, March 9, in Shirley Beggs Ballroom, RSC. President Bardo will make opening remarks and lunch will be served. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5357 for more information.

* The annual WSU Pre-Retirement Planning Seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, March 16. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. One guest is welcome. * February's free biometric screening is tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb. 21) in 266 RSC.
