* The Unclassified Professional (UP) Senate will host an open forum session from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 24) in 233 RSC. * All faculty and staff are invited to the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) chapter meeting from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 24) in 266 RSC. * Join us for a retirement celebration for Michel Winters, associate director of budgets, from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, in the first floor Morrison Hall Boardroom. Light refreshments will be served.

* Registration is open for the 4th Annual Gender & Sexuality in Kansas Conference on Friday, March 3, in the RSC. Conference check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. in 265 RSC, and the day will conclude with a keynote presentation by Joey Sprague from the University of Kansas at 4 p.m. titled, "Be a Critical Consumer of Knowledge: Think Like a Feminist Methodologist." * The University Bookstore is taking orders for faculty and staff who need regalia for Spring 2017 Commencement. The deadline to purchase custom regalia through the bookstore is 4 p.m. Friday, March 10. The deadline to rent regalia is 4 p.m. Friday, March 24. Call Julie at 978-7021 or email her at bookstore@wichita.edu to place your order or if you have any questions. You may also come by the bookstore between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Payment is due at the time you place your order. Orders placed after the deadline will incur additional shipping and handling charges.

* The next Strategic Enrollment Management workshop will discuss how universities have transformed their communication approach to reach more students and improve student outcomes from noon-1 p.m. Friday, March 10, in the Marcus Welcome Center. During this session, we will share strategies, scripting, and email templates that advisors have found highly effective for promoting desired student actions both via email and in person. RSPVs are required using the myWSU portal. Look for "EAB - SSC Presentation RSVP" in the Employee Training channel on the Faculty/Staff tab.
