Free Adult CPR / AED Clinic offered on Friday, March 3

Students, faculty, staff and Innovation Campus employees are invited to a free Adult CPR / AED Clinic at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 3, in 134 Heskett Center. Frank Rokosz, associate professor, Human Performance Studies, will conduct the clinic. No prior first-aid reading, knowledge or experience is required to participate. It is important to understand that this is an information clinic only. No Red Cross or American Heart Association certification will result from your participation. No prior registration is required. Just show up and learn how to perform CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), resolve a choking problem and perform an initial assessment of a person who may need first aid. An opportunity to actively engage in performing those skills is part of the clinic. For more information or questions, contact Frank Rokosz at 978-5443 or frank.rokosz@wichita.edu.
