* Stop by the University Bookstore tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb. 21) and take 25 percent off all Shocker merchandise in honor of the last home men's basketball game.
* There are only two weeks left to apply for the Shocker New Venture Competition. The initial application and three-minute pitch video are due on Monday, March 6. * The Call for Abstracts for the 2017 Undergraduate and Creative Activity Forum (URCAF) is open. The forum will be held Tuesday, April 4, in the RSC, and provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students to present their scholarly and creative activity, while competing for cash awards. * Because of the increasing cases of flu across the nation, Student Health Services is now offering free flu shots. This offer is for all currently enrolled WSU students, faculty and staff, while supplies last.
* Have you ever wondered what it may be like to live in poverty? From 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the RSC Shirley Beggs Ballroom, join Community Service Board as they bring the Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) experience to Wichita State. * The summer program in Puebla, Mexico, is a six-week Spanish immersion program with the opportunity to earn six credits toward a degree in Spanish or a minor in Spanish.
