* The University Police Department, Student Government Association and Office of Diversity and Inclusion invite you to "Know Your Rights on Campus," from 2-3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 22) in 261 RSC.

* Join Student Government Association for the February Shocks Talk with Karen Countryman-Roswurm, founder and director of WSU Center for Combating Human Trafficking and assistant professor in the WSU School of Social Work. Countryman-Roswurm will speak about populations that are at-risk for human trafficking and preventative measures that can be taken by the community from 6-7 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 23) in 256 RSC. Refreshments will be provided.

* Snaps: Black History Poetry Slam will be held at 7:06 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 23) in the RSC Bluestem Lounge. Share in the rich tradition of black poetry. Hear from your favorite local community poets and talented WSU students.

* Muslim Awareness Week is being hosted by WSU's Muslim Student Association (MSA) now through Friday, Feb. 24. Look for the MSA tables from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 22) and Thursday in the RSC. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5385 for information on scheduled events.

* The Leadership Book Club is open to all students. This semester the selection is "The Well-Balanced Leader," by Ron Roberts. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to read and learn about becoming balanced both in leadership and life, while engaging with faculty, staff and students from all over campus.

* The Call for Abstracts for the 2017 Undergraduate and Creative Activity Forum (URCAF) is open. The forum will be held Tuesday, April 4, in the RSC, and provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students to present their scholarly and creative activity, while competing for cash awards.
