Research study seeks help from native speakers of American English

Krystal Iseminger in the Department of English is looking for native speakers of American English (18 or older) who would like to participate in a research study on language and music processing. The study takes about 40-60 minutes and participants receive $10. If you volunteer, you will be asked to do simple language and music-related tasks, e.g. listen to sentences, complete sentences, listen to melodies and answer some questions on the computer screen.

This research study aims to improve our understanding of how people use and understand language and music. Participation is voluntary. Participating or not participating has no effect on a student's grades.

The study will be conducted on the WSU campus, and participants can arrange to come at a time that is most convenient for them.

If you are interested in participating or would like further information about the study, send an email to kjiseminger@shockers.wichita.edu.
