Reminders

* All WSU organizations are welcome to submit information about their programs or special events to the Campus Information Channel on the big screens in campus buildings. The information will run free of charge. For details, contact Mary Morriss at 978-7766 or patricia.morriss@wichita.edu.

* Beginning Wednesday, May 20, Student Health will be closed during the lunch hour (noon-1 p.m.). Lunch duty coverage will begin again Aug. 10. Student Health also will be closed all day Wednesday, May 20, for a staff retreat. No nurses will be available until 1 p.m. Thursday, May 21, for required annual CPR training. Student Health also will be closed from noon-5 p.m. Friday, May 29, because of a scheduled power outage in Ahlberg Hall.

* The Ulrich Museum of Art has made an exciting addition to WSU's holdings of work by Gordon Parks, with the purchase of 16 of the artist's photographs. Seven of the photographs will be on view starting today (Tuesday, May 19). Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.

* Student Activities Council encourages you and your departments to host an event during Fall Welcomefest 2009. * If your department intends to pay a nonresident alien for a contract speaking/teaching engagement or performance in the United States with WSU Foundation funds, there are several requirements.
