Glaser to present at Psychology Department Colloquium

The Psychology Department Colloquium will present a talk by Mark Glaser, professor of public administration in the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs, from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in 128 Jabara Hall. Glaser's topic is "Building Community Capacity: The Public Interest, Coproduction and Demonstrated Trust."

Glaser has worked with local governments in Florida and Virginia for more than 30 years and has served as professor in residence in the Wichita City Manager's Office.

Glaser's research specializes in the use of citizen surveys to create a dialogue between public leaders and the communities they serve that shapes public investment decisions in ways that are consistent with the public interest.

The World Bank funded him to give a version of this talk in Paris in 2014. More recently, Glaser was invited to present his research on this topic by Renmin University of China, at the Sino-US International Conference for Public Administration in Beijing.
