* The President's Distinguished Service Awards and the unclassified professionals' Wayne Carlisle Distinguished Service Award will be presented during the Shocker Pride Celebration Tuesday, March 14, in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom, third floor, RSC. * The Office of Research will hold a workshop to outline step-by-step instructions for responding to a Request for Proposal (RFP) at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, in 405 Jardine Hall. * The WSU Center for Women's Studies, in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, will host Sen. Oletha Faust-Goudeau as a keynote speaker at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, in 100 Lindquist Hall. Faust-Goudeau will present "Women and Politics in Kansas and the U.S." The Women's Studies' Summit will continue with presentations by faculty, students and alumni on Thursday, March 9, at the Marcus Welcome Center. * 2016-17 Signatures: Manager reviews and ratings for 2016-17 annual evaluations in myPerformance were due Tuesday, Feb. 28. Employees should now log in to myPerformance in myWSU to submit their electronic signature. The annual evaluations will then continue to collect manager electronic signatures starting Wednesday, March 8.
* 2017-18 Planning: If you have not set expectations for competencies and goals for 2017-18, you will need to do so before Friday, March 31. For more information and contact information, go to http://www.wichita.edu/myPerformance
* The President's Budget Advisory Committee invites all members of the WSU community to an open forum from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, March 7, in the CAC Theater. The Budget Advisory Committee will present and seek feedback on a new process, now under development, that will be used to gather, assess and promote ideas to increase efficiency and generate revenue for the university. The public forum will be the first of a series as the work of the committee continues.
