* The Office of Human Resources is hosting a series of Financial Wellness Workshops with presentations by local industry experts through the Employee Assistance Program. * PeopleAdmin training will be offered on Wednesday, March 15. This is the university's applicant tracking system for hiring benefits-eligible positions. This hands-on class will prepare you for the development of position descriptions, filling positions and navigation of the PeopleAdmin system. Register through myTraining in myWSU. Questions? * The Graduate School will continue its Professional Development Series with "Surviving Graduate School," at 3 p.m. today (Friday, March 10) in 266 RSC. Check out all of the professional development events at http://www.wichita.edu/pds

* Wichita State's College of Engineering will host the 17th annual Shocker MINDSTORMS Challenge, a robotics competition for 3rd-8th grade students from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, March 11) at the Heskett Center gymnasium.

* Lisa Ling, an Air Force veteran and former technical sergeant on drone surveillance systems, will present "Breaking the Silence: U.S. Drone War Insiders Speak Out," at 7 p.m. today (Friday, March 10) in 208 Hubbard Hall. Admission is free.

* Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, author of "Indigenous Peoples' History of the United States," will give a lecture at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 12, in 132 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. A reception will precede the talk at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free. The title of the lecture is "Indigenous Peoples' Continuing Struggle."

* Your help is needed to judge the 12th Annual T-Shirt Design Competition from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in 266 RSC. Staff and faculty are invited to judge the preliminary designs for the competition before the voting is open to the student body. For more information, contact jacybeck24@hotmail.com.

* The Shockers have cemented their spot in the NCAA tournament and the University Bookstore has the official T-shirt to celebrate their bid. Pre-orders are being accepted online at http://www.wsubooks.com and they will be available in store soon. They are $19.99 and available in sizes small-2XL.
