WSU's 17th Shocker MINDSTORMS Robotics Competition set for March 11

Wichita State University's College of Engineering will host the 17th annual Shocker MINDSTORMS Challenge, a robotics competition for 3rd-8th grade students from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at the Heskett Center gymnasium. The awards ceremonies for beginner teams will be held at 3 p.m. and for expert and intermediate teams at 5 p.m. in Hubbard Hall Room 208 on the WSU campus.

The competition has drawn 37 teams, with 350 students registered. In addition, about 300 spectators are expected to attend. The event is sponsored by the Wichita State College of Engineering and College of Education. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5417 for more information.
