WSU / McBEE Campus Safety Survey

Over the next three years, Wichita State University is participating in a national campus consortium assessing Title IX safety issues and evaluating the efficacy of a newly instituted federal mandate for providing Bystander Intervention Programming as a means of preventing sexual assault, dating violence and stalking on college campuses under the Campus SAVE Act. We seek your help in advertising the first WSU/McBEE Campus Safety Survey in your courses. The survey is open now and students can access the research survey online through the myWSU Portal. The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete, and students participating in the research will be entered into one of two drawings for $250 scholarships. A total of four scholarships are being provided by the Title IX office for Spring 2017 (two winners in each of the drawings). The above recruitment flyer can be easily shared with your students. Questions about the research and / or WSU's participation in the National Multi-Campus Bystander Efficacy Evaluation (McBEE), should be emailed to Jodie Hertzog, Sociology Deparment, at jodie.hertzog@wichita.edu.
