* Today's (Wednesday, March 15) Physics Seminar has been postponed until 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in 128 Jabara Hall. Inclement weather led to canceled flights for the scheduled speaker, Tania Robens from Michigan State University.

* Timothy Wencewicz from Washington University will present, "New Antibiotics from Nature's Chemical Inventory," at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 15) in 224 McKinley Hall, as part of the Spring Chemistry Colloquium.

* The Wichita State baseball team will host Northern Colorado at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 15) at Eck Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* The University Bookstore is having a Shocker Madness Sale. Take 25 percent off all Shocker gear today (Wednesday, March 15) to get ready for the tournament. Hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Sale is in store only, some exclusions apply.

* This month's (March) free biometric screening is Tuesday, March 21, in 142 RSC. To check your scheduled screening or sign up for future dates, log in at https://KansasHealthQuest.CernerWellness.com (click on the Step 2 Biometric Screenings image). Walk-ins are acceptable, depending upon availability.

* Join WSU Ventures and the Center for Entrepreneurship as they host this edition of the National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2) webinar series, "Building a Startup Nation," from noon-12:45 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, March 16) on the second floor, Devlin Hall. We'll explore stories, ideas and insights about women in entrepreneurship. Feel free to bring your lunch.
