In support of the new parking garage under construction south of Rhatigan Student Center, Dondlinger Construction has asked ITS to help move conduits containing fiber optic cabling. During this activity Dondlinger will interrupt the cable and reroute it away from the foundation of the new parking garage, at which time circuits on those cables will have a low likelihood of disruption. ITS has mitigated the risk of impact to data and voice services by moving services to other routes around campus for the duration of the move so that impacts are very unlikely, but possible. However, ITS will have staff available to monitor and address any problem should one arise.
