Three WSU students awarded cash prizes at 14th Annual Capitol Research Summit

Three of nine Wichita State graduate students were awarded cash prizes for their research at the 14th Annual Capitol Graduate Research Summit (CGRS) in Topeka recently. Graduate-level research from all six of Kansas' public universities was adjudicated at the event by faculty and industry judges. Pictured above is Graduate School Dean Dennis Livesay congratulating Kelsay Gardiepy upon award receipt. Mostafa Hasan won the Bio Kansas Award, given to a student whose work shows applied research and best promise for commercialization. Alicia Keow was first place in WSU awards and Gardiepy was second.
