* The Health Industry Career Fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 29) on the third floor, RSC, is a great opportunity for students looking for a career in the health industry to meet and talk one-on-one with representatives / recruiters about their organization and the opportunities they have available.

* If you have been asked to provide a W9 from Wichita State University that confirms WSU's Federal Identification number (FEIN) so a payment can be made to WSU, please send an email to wsuaccountsreceivable@wichita.edu. The W9 is a federal IRS document and must be signed by the Finance Office. If you have questions, call 978-3070.

* The Center for Chemical Biology of Infectious Disease (CBID) at the University of Kansas has issued a research project call for applications to support one new research project at up to $140,000 direct costs per year for one year, renewable for a second year, starting July 1. * The Heskett Center has a half-price sale on memberships and lockers. For more information, call 978-3082 or come by the Guest Services Desk at the Heskett Center to sign up.

* If you have a problem making an online payment, you might need to update your browser TLS security settings (Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox). Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a communication security protocol used for web browsers. Beginning on Monday, May 1, any web browser communication with WSU involving payments will require a TLS setting of 1.1 or 1.2. Instructions to set the TLS security on your browser can be found by at http://webs.wichita.edu/?u=acctsrec&p=/ar_tls/
