Take time to unwind with Art For Your Ears from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 4, in the new outdoor plaza connecting the Ulrich Museum with the School of Art and Design. Nashville-based singer/songwriter Jeff Black kicks off this outdoor summer music series. Self-described as a "burly, bare-knuckled, blue-collar son of the Missouri plains with dark Irish blood," Black's songs have been recorded by Waylon Jennings, Jo-El Sonnier, Sam Bush and BlackHawk. Complimentary refreshments will be served, and attendees are encouraged to peruse the museum galleries, which open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
