* Are you always plugged in? Drop in and join the Counseling and Testing Center to Unplug 2 Connect. Here you will explore healthy usage of technology and social media. Gain insight into your behaviors and develop strategies to address concerns. The meetings are on the next three Fridays from 12:30-1:30 p.m. starting today (Friday, April 7) in 207 RSC.
* You are invited to attend a joint grand opening for GoCreate makerspace and Youth Entrepreneurs from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in WSU's Experiential Engineering Building. GoCreate, a Koch Collaborative, is a premier makerspace open to creators of all ages and experiences. * AHINSA (Association of Hindu Students in America) hosts the 2017 edition of the Holi-inspired Festival of Colors from noon-3 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, April 8) on the Hubbard Hall east lawn. Admission is $5. The Hindu festival of Holi marks the beginning of spring and the passing of winter. If you are partying Holi-style, white clothes are best to really bring out the color. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting messed up, and look out for flying clouds of color coating your phone if you're trying to capture that perfectly Instagrammable moment.
* The Ulrich Museum is joining with the WSU printmaking guild, Tornado Alley Press, for an afternoon of comic book inspired printmaking activities designed for all ages from 1-4 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, April 8) at the Ulrich Museum of Art. Bring the whole family to explore the diverse art of printmaking, from screen printing T-shirts to watching a steamroller print hand-carved 4 x 8 ft. wood blocks. Come dressed as your favorite comic book character and receive a mystery prize. Admission is free.
