Reminders, deadlines and events

* Students are encouraged to attend a Team Campus Rec recruitment session at 1:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 31) in the Shocker Hall Multipurpose Room.

* Want to hear more information from your presidential candidates? Come to the SGA Election Debate from 7-8:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 31) in the CAC Theater. This event will also be live streamed on the SGA Facebook page.

* ISU (International Student Union) is calling for chefs and volunteers for spring InterFest 2017, the international food festival, organized by Wichita State's ISU. InterFest is scheduled from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, on the Neff Hall court yard. Registration is available online at http://www.wichita.edu/isu/interfest. Applications are due today (Friday, March 31).

* Tours of The Flats will resume from 2-5 p.m. today (Friday, March 31). Join us at the Marcus Welcome Center for your sneak peak of The Flats. Closed-toe shoes are required. For more information, go to http://www.theflatsatwsu.com.

* Apply now for the Summer Leadership Institute and attend this week long experience that will allow you to grow as a leader and expand your leadership skills and abilities. Applications are available online now until 5 p.m. today (Friday, March 31) at http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/sli. * Two WSU Doctoral of Audiology students need subjects for their research projects. They study an existing and a newly developed clinical technique for evaluating function of the middle ear. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 35, have normal hearing, have not had an ear infection in the past three months, nor had a cold or flu in the past two weeks. Participants will receive a free comprehensive hearing evaluation and ear examination prior to testing. The testing will take about an hour. * The University Bookstore now carries White Wave Longboards. This week you can enter to win "The Shocker" longboard and some gear, valued at $200. The bookstore will give away one longboard on Facebook (facebook.com/WSUBooks) and one on Twitter (twitter.com/wsu_rsc). Check out the social media pages to find out how to enter. Winners will be announced Monday, April 3.
