AHINSA invites you to Holi-inspired Festival of Colors on Saturday, April 8

AHINSA (Association of Hindu Students in America) hosts the 2017 edition of the Holi-inspired Festival of Colors from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in Hubbard Hall east lawn. Admission is $5. The Hindu festival of Holi marks the beginning of spring and the passing of winter. Taking place mainly in India and Nepal, people of all ages and backgrounds take to the streets to celebrate this colorful festival. The color, noise and entertainment that accompanies the celebration of Holi will bear witness to a feeling of oneness and sense of brotherhood. If you are partying Holi-style, white clothes are best to really bring out the color. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting messed up, and look out for flying clouds of color coating your phone if you're trying to capture that perfectly Instagrammable moment.
