Reminders Reminders

* A planned extended weekend electrical power outage will affect Ahlberg Hall, Neff Hall, Geology Building and Engineering Building from 1 p.m. today (Friday, May 29) through Sunday, May 31. Building occupants should take precautions with computers and power-sensitive equipment prior to the shutdown. Power will be restored in time for activities to resume in the affected buildings on Monday, June 1.

* A number of pianos used in the School of Music will be sold in a public sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, in Duerksen Fine Arts Center.

* Faculty/staff fitness classes will start Monday, June 1, and continue until June 26. Classes offered are yoga, aqua power workout and aqua jogging plus. For more information, call the Heskett Center at 978-3082, Sally Beckett at 978-5286, or go to

* Take time to unwind with Art For Your Ears from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 4, in the new outdoor plaza connecting the Ulrich Museum with the School of Art and Design. Nashville-based singer/songwriter Jeff Black kicks off this outdoor summer music series. Complimentary refreshments will be served, and attendees are encouraged to peruse the museum galleries, which open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
