Reminders, deadlines and events

* With SGA election voting underway, faculty, staff and students are reminded of the following: 1) no university funds may be used for campaign expenses whether GU, RU, student fees or money held by the WSU Foundation, and 2) faculty and staff should refrain from endorsing any candidate or political party.

Recognized Student Organizations may issue an official endorsement of a candidate or party or contribute financially to a campaign provided: 1) the endorsement is approved by its membership in accord with its constitution and bylaws, and 2) the financial contribution is approved by its membership in accord with its constitution and bylaws and complies with SGA regulations governing campaign finance. * The Wichita State Society of Women Engineers will meet at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 5) in the lobby of Beggs Hall.

* Students -- the Rhatigan Student Center wants your feedback on what type of dining locations you would like to see in the RSC. Please take this one question survey to let us know your preference. Go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DiningLocations. The survey will be open today (Wednesday, April 5).

* Sign up for the final Spring Business Booster Series workshop "Insurance: It's a Balancing Act" from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, on the second floor Innovation Hub in Devlin Hall. The cost is $10 for students. Register at http://www.wichita.edu/businessbooster

* AHINSA (Association of Hindu Students in America) hosts the 2017 edition of the Holi-inspired Festival of Colors from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in Hubbard Hall east lawn. Admission is $5.

* Join the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for the spring 2017 Employer Symposium from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in the CAC Theater.

* Are you strong? Flexible? Intelligent? Come find out at the SAC and NSLS Decathlon from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at the RSC east courtyard. Have the chance to earn prizes after finishing at least five challenges. For more information, go to http://www.wichita.edu/SAC

* Take off your shoes to raise global awareness for children's health and education. TOMS shoes are now on sale for pre-order until Friday, April 14. Each pair is $35 (cash or check) and can be ordered at Student Involvement, 216 RSC. Shoe pick-up and TOMS One Day Without Shoes celebration will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, on the RSC north patio.
