* Register for the final workshop in the Spring Business Booster Series sponsored by Cox Business. "Insurance: It's a Balancing Act" from 8:30-11:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, April 7) on the second floor Innovation Hub in Devlin Hall. The cost is $10 for students and $20 for WSU faculty and staff. * Join Wichita State's Child Development Center (CDC) and Kansas Children's Service League (KCSL) for Wear Blue Day tomorrow (Friday, April 7) to raise awareness for child abuse prevention programs. The KCSL will plant a pinwheel garden at 10 a.m. Friday, April 7, outside the CDC, with President John Bardo present to read the child abuse prevention month proclamation. * Are you always plugged in? Drop in and join the Counseling and Testing Center to Unplug 2 Connect. Here you will explore healthy usage of technology and social media. Gain insight into your behaviors and develop strategies to address concerns. The meetings are on the next three Fridays from 12:30-1:30 p.m. starting tomorrow (Friday, April 7) in 207 RSC. * PeopleAdmin Training on Wednesday, April 12 -- PeopleAdmin is the university's applicant tracking system for hiring benefits-eligible positions. This hands-on class will prepare you for the development of position descriptions, filling positions and navigation of the PeopleAdmin system. Register through myTraining in myWSU. Questions?
