Reminders, deadlines, events and Shocker Blast

* The Student Activities Council is recruiting organizations to participate in the Spring 2017 Finals Frenzy Week from Monday, May 1, to Friday, May 5. Are you interested in hosting an event this semester? If so, complete the registration form at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5493 by 5 p.m. today (Monday, April 10).

* Here are some helpful tips about this year's HealthQuest (HQ) program. Employees should not attend more than one biometric screening per year, as initial screening values will not change based on new results. Next, a Cotinine test is now required in order to obtain the tobacco free HQ points. This test is free if done through an on-campus biometric screening only -- it is not included in the at-home screening kit. There is an additional cost if completed during an annual physical. * Wichita State has a new Federal Express drop box located outside the Airbus Facility at 1855 Innovation Blvd. The pickup time is 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

* The WSU American Red Cross Club, the Interfraternity Council and the Nursing Class of 2017 invite WSU faculty, staff and students to donate blood to help us reach our goal of saving more than 300 lives. The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 12-13 in Grace Memorial Chapel. Donors will receive a free piece of pizza as a small token of appreciation. * Take off your shoes to raise global awareness for children's health and education. TOMS shoes are now on sale for pre-order until Friday, April 14. Each pair is $35 (cash or check) and can be ordered at Student Involvement, 216 RSC. Shoe pick-up and TOMS One Day Without Shoes celebration will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, on the RSC north patio.

* Visit the Heskett Center's newly remodeled Cycle Fit studio and enjoy free Cycle Fit classes for the rest of the semester. Also, since so many have enjoyed our F45 classes, we've decided to add more time slots. F45 is now available at 7:15 p.m. Monday and Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday. While you are enjoying these new classes, keep your things safe with our new lockers located by the F45 studio.

* PeopleAdmin Training on Wednesday, April 12 -- PeopleAdmin is the university's applicant tracking system for hiring benefits-eligible positions. This hands-on class will prepare you for the development of position descriptions, filling positions and navigation of the PeopleAdmin system. Register through myTraining in myWSU. Questions?
