Reminders, deadlines, events and Shocker Blast

* If you are a budget officer, review officer or vice president, annual training on the budgeting system is strongly encouraged and will be held Monday, April 17-Wednesday, April 19. * Indiana State at Wichita State softball - 3 p.m. today (Friday, April 14); and 11 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, April 15) at Wilkins Stadium. Gates open at 9:45 a.m. Saturday with an Easter Egg Hunt around the stadium at 10 a.m. for children 12 and under. There will be a photo booth and face painting before Saturday's game. * The KT Woodman Classic will be held today (Friday, April 14) and tomorrow (Saturday, April 15) at Cessna Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* Have you ever wanted to own a pair of TOMS shoes? Community Service Board has a deal for you. TOMS are being sold for only $35 a pair and come in a variety of colors. For every pair you purchase, one will be donated to a child in need of shoes. Stop by Student Involvement in the RSC to pre-order your TOMS by 5 p.m. today (Friday, April 14).

* Campus Recreation is curious about what sports you would be interested in playing this summer. All of the sports will be played on campus with the exception of any golf-related leagues. * Register for the final SEM workshop of the year, which will focus on receiving feedback on our progress to date and identify the need for additional initiatives. The workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in 180 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. RSVP to jeanne.patton@wichita.edu by Tuesday, April 18.

* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources and Counseling and Testing Center invite you to gender diversity training from 2:30-5 p.m. Monday, April 17, in 264 RSC. The goal is to clarify the understanding of issues related to gender minority / transgender people. Sign up for this training at wichita.edu/transgender.
