* Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support WSU Student Speech Language Hearing Association. Between 5-9 p.m. today (Monday, April 17) come to the Chipotle at 3015 N. Rock Rd. Tell the cashier you're supporting the cause to make sure that 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to WSU Student Speech Language Hearing Association.
* Student Health Services will offering free STI testing at our upcoming clinic, from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in 209 Ahlberg Hall. Students do not need an appointment to attend. This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Kansas Pathology Consultants.
* Join us at noon Sunday, April 30, for the Amazing Race. Based on the popular TV show, teams of two will race around the WSU campus working their way through unique challenges, physical and mental activities and a variety of interactive tasks before racing to the finish line where free food and awesome prizes await the finishers. The cost is only $5 per person with teams of two. Sign up at the Heskett Center to join the race.
* Join for a special screening of "Out Here In Kansas," a 30-minute documentary about the tumultuous relationship between gays and the church at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in the CAC Theater. Following the film will be a Q&A with the director, WSU graduate Adam Knapp. Admission is free to students with a WSU ID and $2 for general public, faculty and staff.
* The Society of Women Engineers will host a Mother Daughter Day for fourth-to-sixth grade children from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 22, in the Experiential Engineering Building. It will be an exciting day of hands-on STEM activities. Lunch is provided. Sign up at http://www.wichita.edu/swe
* The next aviailable Mental Health First Aid workshop is Friday, April 28. This is a free eight-hour course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Register at http://www.wichita.edu/MHFA.
