School of Music Professor Tom Wine is taking 76 choral students predominantly from the A Cappella Choir to perform in New York City's Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, June 2. WSU is combining with two other college choirsfor the world premier of a "Requiem" by David N. Childs. The combined choirs, soloists and orchestra will be conducted by the composer and Wine will participate as one of the vocalists. The choir leaves on Saturday, May 30, for New York City, where they will rehearse for three days before performing in Carnegie Hall June 2.
