The Department of History invites you to attend an evening lecture, "Miss Cheesecake and the Democratic Army: Women and Military Entertainment in the Twentieth Century," by Kara Dixon Vuic, the LCpl Benjamin W. Schmidt Professor of War, Conflict and Society in Twentieth Century at Texas Christian University. The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in 208 Hubbard Hall. It's free and open to the public.
