* In honor of Earth Day, WSU Green Group is hosting an Earth Day Celebration from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, April 20) on the RSC north patio.

* The Department of History invites you to attend an evening lecture, "Miss Cheesecake and the Democratic Army: Women and Military Entertainment in the Twentieth Century," by Kara Dixon Vuic, the LCpl Benjamin W. Schmidt Professor of War, Conflict and Society in Twentieth Century at Texas Christian University. The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, April 20) in 208 Hubbard Hall. It's free, and open to the public.

* WSU choirs will present "The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace" at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, April 20) in Miller Concert Hall. The Concert Chorale, A Cappella Choir and Symphony Orchestra will join together to present the powerful concert by Karl Jenkins. * The Commencement Office is looking for individuals who are available to work for each of the ceremonies on Saturday, May 13. * Join the Community Service Board (CSB) as they assist those with food hunger in the Wichita community by volunteering through their series event, Food Bank Fridays, at the Kansas Food Bank. Their next and last Food Bank Friday of the semester will take place from 2-4 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, April 21). * The College of Engineering, in collaboration with Swathers Robotics of Hesston, will host more than 25 high school robotics teams at the Shocker Special - Starstruck VEX Robotics Competition from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, April 21) in the Heskett Center gym.
