WSU Ventures will select up to 10 semi-finalists to pitch their ideas to a panel of local judges on Friday, May 12. WSU Ventures will then select one winner from the Kansas InnovateHER competition to be submitted to the Small Business Administration (SBA) for a chance to participate in the National InnovateHER 2017 semifinal round. The SBA will identify up to 10 finalists from all of the local competitions and these finalists will be invited to travel to Washington, D.C., in September for a live pitch competition and compete for up to $70,000 in prize money provided by Sarah Blakely Foundation.
