* Sunday, June 7, is the last day to see "No Ideas But In Things: Artists Look at Objects," featuring work from the Ulrich Museum collection that examines the ways in which artists focus on tangible objects to express intangible concepts. Admission is free.

* Vault Online Career Library is the June Resource of the Month for University Libraries. Randi Lindquist, Office of Career Services, will offer three free workshops on the use of Vault. * WSU's Distinguished Scholarship Invitational 2009 will be held Saturday, Nov. 14. If you would like to serve as an observer or if you know of a student who would qualify for the Distinguished Scholarship Invitational, contact Kim Sandlin, assistant director of admissions, at 978-5427 or kim.sandlin@wichita.edu. The time commitment for an observer is 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

* Strange Currency, which can be heard at 9 p.m. Saturdays on KMUW FM 89.1, will feature Kansas music throughout June. The program will celebrate the rich musical heritage of Wichita, Topeka and Lawrence with music of the state's past and present. On Saturday, June 6, Strange Currency will feature the band The Embarrassment, formed by several WSU art students in 1979.

* On the 7 p.m. Sunday, June 7, edition of Crossroads on KMUW FM 89.1, it's music from a number of blues and soul artists appearing at festivals, concert series and venues from around the region, plus music from several of this year's Blues Music Awards winners.
