The Barton School of Business will host a celebration of Dharma deSilva's 40-plus years of service to the Barton School, WSU and the broader community. Remarks will be made by President John Bardo and Barton School Dean Anand Desai at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, in 142 Rhatigan Student Center. Dharma deSilva, teacher, scholar and tireless advocate for global trade and the internationalization of business education, died recently in Wichita. He was 83 years old.
