Invest in the future: Annual Fund for Excellence

As public funding for higher education continues to decline as a percentage of total costs, support for the Annual Fund for Excellence becomes increasingly important.

Ron Matson, dean of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, explained how valuable the Annual Fund is when he spoke to the WSU Foundation's student callers this spring: "Donations to the Annual Fund for Excellence are worth 10 times more than their actual value because they are unexpected funds above and beyond the budget, meaning we can use them where they are needed most."

We invite you to join WSU alumni, friends and your fellow faculty and staff in support of the Annual Fund for Excellence. Your support can be directed to the WSU college or department of your choice, or the University Libraries.

Each gift provides discretionary dollars that are strategically used by the deans to enhance the student experience. While a common method of giving is a one-time gift by check or credit card, one of the easiest options is by payroll deduction where the amount you specify is deducted from each paycheck.

Your support will make a difference. Please consider making a gift today.
