Wichita State head cross country and assistant track and field coach Marc Burns was named the Midwest Region Women's Assistant Coach of the Year as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the 2009 Division I Men's and Women's Regional Athletes and Coaches of the Year on Monday, June 8.
