WSU, Office of Special Programs host 2nd annual College Signing Day 2017
"This is a wonderful occasion," said Deltha Q. Colvin, associate vice president for Student Affairs, Special Programs at WSU. "Not only are we celebrating the achievement of graduating high school for these seniors, but we're also congratulating them for immediately continuing on with their post-secondary education."
WSU's three Upward Bound Programs hosted the event -- Upward Bound Math Science, Upward Bound Wichita Prep and Communication Upward Bound. Twenty-five students participated in the signing ceremony, and of those graduating seniors more than a third will attend Wichita State University this fall.
