Reminders, deadlines and events

* Help raise money to fund Parkinson's Disease Research by playing the New Member Greek Council's annual kickball tournament from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Friday, May 5) at Fairmount Park. Cost per person is $5.

* The Pakistani Student Association invites you to the annual Pakistan Night in Shocker Dining Hall at 5 p.m. today (Friday, May 5). Come enjoy delicious authentic Pakistani food, games, live music and more.

* The Office of Financial Aid will be closed today (Friday, May 5) for staff development. For financial aid questions, students can contact the WSU OneStop staff in 112 Jardine Hall or at 1-855-WSU-1STP (978-1787).

* The Heskett Center will close at 5 p.m. today (Friday, May 5) for the Shocks Recreation Banquet.

* The Office of Disability Services will keep their office open until 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, May 8-11, to accommodate tests that are given later in the evening.

* Shocker Exchange is an end-of-the-year event for students to have a chance to sell items they no longer need (furniture, tools, clothing and more) from noon-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Shocker Hall Plaza. If you reserve a table, you are responsible to bring your items to Shocker Plaza for the event. There will only be 35 tables. Tables will be filled on a first-come first-served basis, and students will have first priority. Go to bit.ly/shockerexchange

* The WSU Public Policy and Management Center will host a panel discussion of local media experts to focus on sharing the facts in a world of fake news.
