The Office of Financial Aid and Office of Student Success are excited to announce the transition of the VA Education Benefit programs to the newly-created Office of Military and Veteran Student Services housed in the Military and Veteran Student Center in 105 Grace Wilkie Hall. This transition will provide a more centralized experience for military and veteran students, and allow Wichita State to be the front-runner in Kansas for collaborative services and resources for this vital population. Megan Olsen will continue as WSU's GI Bill School Certifying Official, and will join Sarah Sell, director of Military and Veteran Student Services. During the transition, students using VA Education Benefits may submit scanned documents electronically to veterans.services@wichita.edu. Documents directly submitted to the Military & Veteran Student Center in Grace Wilkie or to the Office of Financial Aid in Jardine Hall will continue to be routed to the VA Education Benefits team for processing.
