Reminders, deadlines and events

* In order to accommodate students who have 7 a.m. finals, we will start the shuttles at 6:30 a.m. this week. The end times will not be affected.

* The Office of Disability Services will keep their office open until 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, May 8-11, to accommodate tests that are given later in the evening.

* Shocker Exchange is an end-of-the-year event for students to have a chance to sell items they no longer need (furniture, tools, clothing and more) from noon-3 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, May 9) at Shocker Hall Plaza.

* The baseball team will host Oral Roberts at 6 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, May 9) at Eck Stadium. Admission is free for students with a WSU ID.

* Join us in celebrating the culmination of the inaugural LaunchPrep program on Thursday, May 18. LaunchPrep is a partnership between the e2e Accelerator and WSU's Center for Entrepreneurship. Admission is free. Register now at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5567

* There are tutoring positions with Wichita Public Schools that requires working with a diverse range of students in a group or one-on-one setting. The position is flexible around student class schedules and ranges from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Students need to go to http://www.usd259.org, click the careers tab, and click "apply here." In the search bar above, type in AVID. Select the Temporary Aide - AVID Tutor job posting and click "Additional Information" to show job description. Finally, click "Apply" to begin the application. * Registration is open for fall 2017 classes at WSU, and that means it's time to sign up for a WSU choir audition. * The Offices of Diversity and Inclusion and First-Year Programs are hosting Passage 2 Success from Aug. 13-16. Invitations went out to nearly 2,000 admitted students three weeks ago encouraging them to attend. Passage 2 Success is a four-day retreat for incoming freshmen from diverse backgrounds to help in their transition to Wichita State.
