Reminders, deadlines and events

* The State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) discovered some health coverage issues for some covered employees recently. The error occurred in MAP while performing system updates. Some individuals whose coverage changes were to be effective on May 1, and a few others, were impacted. Notices of coverage termination may have been mailed to affected employees. SEHP sent corrections to the carriers as of Thursday, May 11, which should resolve the issue. If you have questions, email kdhe.sehpdata@ks.gov.

* Celebrate the culmination of the inaugural LaunchPrep program from 4:30-6:30 p.m. today (Thursday, May 18) in the Experiential Engineering Building. LaunchPrep is a partnership between the e2e Accelerator and WSU's Center for Entrepreneurship. Admission is free. Register at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5567

* Isely Lane will be closed from 7-10 a.m. today (Thursday, May 18) for construction activities on the parking garage. In addition, Isely Lane also will be closed for all traffic except for WSU deliveries from 7-11 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, May 19). Isely Lane will reopen to all traffic at the completion of the concrete pour.

* University Libraries and the Rocky Mountain Regional Office of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) are hosting a free "All Day Patent Seminar" for inventors and entrepreneurs from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, on the first floor, Ablah Library in C-Space. * WSU is accepting registration for summer choir. The choir will practice from 5-6:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Monday, June 5, in C-107 Duerksen Hall, with the concert on Thursday, June 29.
