Reminders, deadlines and events

* Parking lots 9E and 9W south of Ahlberg Hall will be blocked all day today (Tuesday, May 23). Lot 5 north of Wilkins Stadium and lots 3N and 3S along the northeast and east side of Cessna Stadium, will be blocked off Wednesday through Saturday, May 24-27, for the Kansas State High School Track and Field Meet.

* May's free biometric screening is today (Tuesday, May 23) in 142 RSC. To check your scheduled screening or sign up for future dates, log in at https://KansasHealthQuest.CernerWellness.com (click on the Step 2 Biometric Screenings image). Walk-ins are acceptable, depending on availability.

* If you are within five years of retirement you may want to start reviewing important details, such as the best date to retire, how to calculate your benefits, the steps to retire, how you get paid, taxes, life insurance and working after retirement. * The WSU Bands are accepting registration for our new summer band. The band will rehearse from 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from Tuesday, May 30-Thursday, June 29, in C-104 Duerksen Hall. The concert will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 2. Registration is $30. Pre-register at http://www.wichita.edu/mktcfai. * Isely Lane will be closed for all traffic except for WSU deliveries from 7-10 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, May 24) and 7-11 a.m. Friday, May 26. Isely Lane will reopen to all traffic at the completion of the concrete pour.

* Requisitions are due as normal at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 28. The WSU Foundation does not encumber funds and cannot write any checks for fiscal year 2017 after June 30, 2017. We want to be sure our donors are recognized in the proper gift clubs, so be sure to deliver all gift deposits for this fiscal year ending June 30 by noon Monday, July 3, 2017.
