Reminders

* Faculty and staff are invited to a reception in honor of Bart Hildreth, Regents Distinguished Professor of Public Finance, for 15 years of distinguished service, from 4-6 p.m. today (Monday, June 22) in 207 Lindquist Hall. Hildreth will begin his new appointment as dean of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University July 1.

* The WSU Summer Symphony will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, in Miller Concert Hall. http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/wsunews/news/?nid=709

* The last day for the WSU Foundation regular check run is as normal, with requisitions due at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, with checks distributed Friday, June 26. For any last-minute invoices, these requisitions must be received by 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, and checks will be distributed Wednesday, July 1. Make sure all of your deposits for fiscal year 2009 are at the foundation by 10 a.m. Monday, July 6.

* Due to low enrollment, the Office of Human Resources has canceled sexual harassment training sessions for June 25, and July 1 and 2. A session on Wednesday, June 24, will still be held in the Media Resources Center ITV Room.
