* Federal work study supervisors: If you plan to retain your federal work study student employees for the 2017-18 academic year, notify Karen Porter at karen.porter@wichita.edu by Friday, July 14. She will contact you soon to update your student employee position descriptions for 2017-18. Remember to post your federal work study job openings with the WSU Career Development Center on Handshake at wichita.edu/careerdevelopment. Handshake enables students to search and apply for on-campus federal work study employment.
* The WSU Food Truck Plaza will continue to schedule food trucks through the summer, giving faculty, staff, Innovation Campus employees and students here during the summer months another dining option on campus. Be sure to follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/WichitaStateFoodTrucks and Twitter at www.twitter.com/wsufoodtrucks to keep up-to-date on daily schedules.

* Spring is over and summer has begun. Join us for some ice cream fun. A scoop of ice cream can help beat the heat. Come to the Experiential Engineering Building (EEB) for an afternoon treat. Please join President Bardo and the executive staff for ice cream from 3-4:30 p.m. Friday, June 9, in the EEB lobby of the Experiential Engineering Building.
