Reminders, deadlines and events

* The Leadership Book Club is open to all faculty, staff and students. This summer's selection is "Leaders Eat Last," by Simon Sinek. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?5606 to sign up to get a copy of the book and select your discussion times over the content. The deadline to register is today (Wednesday, June 7).

* You are cordially invited to attend a celebration for Connie Dietz as she retires from
Wichita State after 22 years of wholehearted service. The celebration will be held from 3-5 p.m. with remarks at 4 p.m. Friday, June 16, in 142 RSC.

* There will be an IRB (Institutional Research Board) open lab from 10-11:30 a.m. Monday, June 12, in 405 Jardine Hall, for faculty, staff and students with questions about the new IRB forms or their research in general. No registration required; just drop in.

* Effective Saturday, July 1, Duplication Station will launch the Digital Storefront for digital print submission. Orders received through the storefront will retain the digital discount. Please contact Duplication Station with questions at 978-3546. wsu.myprintdesk.net/dsf

* The Kansas City Royals are excited to announce the return of Wichita State Night for the 2017 season. Join your fellow Shocker fans for an evening of big league action to watch your Royals take on the Seattle Mariners at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5. * Take an active lunch break or a walking meeting around Botanica Gardens. Thanks to a partnership between Health ICT and Botanica, all WSU employees can now explore the gardens for only $1 weekdays between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Show your WSU ID upon arrival to take advantage of this great deal.
